Egg Hunt - Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon - Finale

What a bitter sweet moment this is. We have completed our long journey, starting by saving dragons imprisoned in crystal and ending by rescuing the next generation from the clutches of an evil sorceress.

And yet, this means that our time with gaming's most iconic, adorable little dragon have come to an end. Not only are we done with Year of the Dragon, but the whole Reignited Trilogy. What a ride it's been.

It's time for us to leave Evening Lake, and enter the final phase of our adventure. The last hub world, Midnight Mountain, awaits us with it's vast quantities of treasure and dragon eggs.

But before we get to that, we must fight our way through another one of the Sorceress's monsters.

Our elusive Egg Hunt continues, and today we complete Midday Gardens fully, and get as much of Evening Lake done as we possibly can before the next boss fight.

Fun fact: Evening Lake is the only hub world in the entire trilogy that has portals underwater.

The Sorceress and her army of rhynocs are still out there, with all of the dragon eggs we have yet to rescue. We can't afford to let them down, so our Egg Hunt continues here in the Forgotten Realms.

We find ourselves once more into the Dragon Realms, after our second stint in the Australian Outback. After our last adventure, the land was at peace, yet that can't last forever. Lo and behold, a new plot begins to unfold.

A group of thugs from a far away land have spirited away this year's brood of dragon eggs, and the holes they crawled in through aren't big enough for the dragons of this land to burrow through. Fortunately, our young, intrepid Spyro is just the right size, and with enough experience under his belt to take on one more quest.

Off we are to the Forgotten Realms, on an Egg Hunt of grave import.

Seasonal Vacation - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage - Finale

It was fun while it lasted, but sadly our Seasonal Vacation must come to an end. With the aid of our superflame, we make short work of our adversaries and tie up all of our pending loose ends.

And once all pending tasks have been cleared, we'll be free to relax and soak up a few rays at Dragon Shores. Spyro's been dying to go their since the start of the trip, and it's about time we indulged our little dragon pal.

Despite the serenity of the home world we now reside in, not all is well within the world of Avalar. Even discounting Ripto's machinations, there's plenty of trouble brewing between the local residents of each world. And we're just the right shade of purple dragon to deal with their problems.

Or at least play them off each other enough to make a profit.

As the winter chill sets in, and snow starts to fall on the ground, what better time to continue our Seasonal Vacation in the realm of Avalar with our good buddies Spyro the Dragon and Sparx the Dragonfly.

With the permanent superflame, we're sure to have a significantly easier time helping the various citizens we encounter along the way.

The plan after finishing Crash was to run the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 content with Chris, but I foolishly forgot that I had uninstalled the game some time ago.

So instead I decided to start playing Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. Welcome to the magical world of Avalar, where we've been summoned to toast a new threat. And naturally, with new challenges comes and expanded arsenal.

At last, we have arrived at the end of our quest, and every Dragon Daddy has been rescued from their crystal prison. And after a tense, thrilling, and difficult fight against Gnasty Gnorc, we save the day.

But more than that, we managed to find Gnasty's secret meme collection. No, this is not a joke.

Sir Daniel Fortesque has, at long last, defeated Zarok, resting in the eternal piece of his crypt. For us, that means it's time to move onto a new adventure.

What better excuse than this would there be to go back to an old, nostalgic game from the PlayStation, and my childhood. A game that I have replayed time and time again, and was remastered for newer consoles merely one year ago.

It's time to meet hot Dragon Daddies in the Dragon Realms, for we're playing Spyro the Dragon.
